Cedar products are typically shipped in wooden crates. In most cases, one or more screws secure the piece to the crate at the base and can be removed when unpacking.

Any small screw holes that remain are not a production defect, do not affect structural integrity and do not cause or contribute to cracking. They are part of the standard method used to stabilize the piece in transit, are not considered damage, and cannot be the basis of a claim.
